C L A S S   E V A L U A T I O N

  1. Things I enjoyed about this class is that is very easy going. The people are alright, they aren't too bad. Writing about certain things also I enjoyed, well, depending on the things we are writing about. Overall this class is one of the three classes I can sort of relax in before attending other classes. It's an easy grade, the work isn't something stressing or so on, so I really liked that.
  2. Things I disliked about the class was well, some statements or quotes that we've done over the semester I don't really approve on. Not to be rude, some didn't really seem reasonable. Another thing I disliked about this class was well, we don't really get to socialize with other people as much, just the people around us or that sits next to us which, I don't really mind but it would of been nice socializing more with others. We were kind of treated like 6 or 7 year old to be honest, in my opinion of course, which I sort of hated.
  3. More social activities is one I would recommend for the class on improving. Another thing is, adding more subjects that the kids would be interested on doing work upon once in a while.
  4. Well to be completely honest, not really. I have so much on my plate everyday of my life to go on my journal and write about future goals. I mean I have an idea on what I want my future life to be but, I do agree that it might help me keep track of my goals so I will come around doing so maybe, or not.
  5. Not exactly, I'm not mostly a CTR person, I'm not perfect on making choices, I make mistakes just like any normal human does. Truly, I mean I like the life I live even if isn't completely CTR.
  6. Some things I learned from this class is some quotes on choosing the

"Instead of dreaming about it, people need to start acting upon it."
- Yoselin Lopez

As a kid we all build up dreams for ourselves to commit to, even fantasy ones. We are kids with stars in our eyes looking for a possibility for these things to become a reality. Us at that age don't know what the world is and what it can do to us. Once we grow over the years we start having responsibilities and so many other things we did not have to plan in our future. So many different things that our dreams soon get further from our reach. If our dedication soon fades then so do our dreams. If we are eager to achieve instead of dream then we must commit. We as  dreamers must work hard towards the future we want to achieve.

  1.  Memorial Day is a day in which those who died in active military service are remembered.
  2. Memorial Day is celebrated on May 28th which is on a Monday.
  3. Ways to show honor and respect on memorial day is write a thank you card or note and send it overseas, you may also visit a local veteran's cemetery or war memorial.

  5. Memorial Day is also known as Decoration Day. It originated in the years following the Civil War, and it became an official holiday in 1971.
  6. I will probably have some sort of dinner in honoring our fellow military the freedom they fought for us to have.
    1. I  would say it is quite honorable to have a day for yourself, specifically in honoring what you have done for your fellow people. Family members of such military soldiers must be so proud of what they've done. I find war sorta silly, don't you think? Sort of weird how we use violence in order to bring peace. Losing those people we love in order to gain peace, but people are just so greedy and so self important in order to come to peace without violence. Here we are honoring these people who could of just stayed alive if it weren't for that. If only people could come to an agreement like as kids we are taught to do so, but here is the nation doing the opposite. Anyways, it is very honorable for what you've done.

Character

"If there is beauty in a character, there will be harmony in the home. If  there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in a character, there will be peace in the world."
- Chinese Proverb

What this statement means is that well, the world is an absolute haywire among everyone who lives upon it. We start wars in order to resolve among others. Truly, the only way that we can ever come around actually resolving peace in the world if you start with yourself first. That will make and be a great change, to change into a correct/righteous individual. A person who doesn't use money nor the tactics of war in order to set peace with other individuals. Everyone should make the action to do so. Forget the violence, forget the discrimination, forget the selfishness you carry throughout your corner existence of life. Try to be the opposite of those things in order to set an  example. Of how humans are supposed to be throughout the world to each other.

IDP/ Showcase Presentation Experience

So, in school, we usually present to panels once every semester about certain topics, mostly medical topics. This semester, my second semester of my sophomore year has been my fourth IDP presentation I've done. And to be completely honest, I've gotten better at presenting than I was before. I still get nervous about going up there and presenting is just like a big no for me. Either way tho, our group was pretty elaborate and very informational especially my partners Joseph and Cassandra. I for one, know, I could of done a better job with my part and what I said but, I'm pretty much getting there. Overall, we did a wonderful job. Really proud of our group.

"When a deep injury is done to us, we never recover until we forgive."
- Alan Paton

I agree with this statement because well, it is pretty much true. When someone does something against you that is hurtful your usual reaction is being mad and disappointed in that person and it really makes you carry that burden with you a long the way. Usually, much happiness can be made if people just forgave and carry on instead of just boiling up with such hatred. At that point in time you just want to hurt them back because they hurt you in such a way you wanna seek justice or revenge. Honestly, this is one of the bigger reasons why the world is so lost and just done for, because human society doesn't know how to forgive, or sees it as not necessary. Their point of you is that hey, this person did something awful to me why should I forgive them for what they done if they don't really deserve it? I mean holding that feeling of hatred inside you really changes your state of mind and the way you work as a person. It really sets you up because you have not forgiven and choose to carry that hatred for the rest of your life. You can become hateful because of you bottling this hatred up for this person. The world really must learn how to forgive and forget.

Eight Great Reasons to Tell the Truth

Barbara A. Lewis

Image result for tell the truth

  1.  Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding. confusion, and conflict.
  2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
  3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
  4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught).
  5. Other people trust you more when you tell the truth.
  6. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
  7. You gain a reputation for being truthful - a trait most people value.
  8. Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside.
I mean, there are many reasons why you should be truthful. Yeah some might lead you into trouble but you brought it there. Usually lying about it even more just make the situation you got yourself in before telling such a lie worse than it was. Truth builds your reputation with people also which is at most great matter. If you disclaimer on speaking truth these people's trust that they once had for you are gone. You are nothing more than a liar to them and deserve not to be trusted what so ever with anything important. It is best to just say what things are instead of just twisting it in order for you to get away with certain things and play yourself the safe card. Truly lying about whatever really won't get you anywhere, well, it get's you to misery and disappointment, other than that, nothing more.
