What this statement means is that it really is a great experience to see someone help another at the right time, when they need it. Like maybe when someone is getting bullied at school. You do the right thing by standing up for them or trying your all for them to stop. You are doing the correct method of being a better person for yourself and others. Being there for someone, even if you don't really know them and assisting or doing something throughout the problem they are going through. And seeing an individual acting that way really is something to behold. It's showing how wonderful people can really be. How these people give out an example to others about choosing the right and doing what's best for that specific moment. It is quite heart warming to see, in all means, see the best in people, see the best in humanity.

What this quote is stating is that you can not just say partial truth and expect it to be whole on honesty. Partial truth is still considered a lie, I can say that I finished all my homework but, did not finish this one specific assignment. That is called partial truth, you did not really finish all your homework as you actually claimed which was a lie. I can give back a forgotten bag at a park to their rightful owner but, took five dollars from the bag. I gave it back right? I mean it is only just five dollars. Even so though, it does not make it right as a whole. Even if you gave it back, you still did wrong by stealing from it. There is no exceptions in what is right and wrong. Wrong is always gonna be wrong as much as you wanna try to make it seem right.

"What's right isn't always popular. What's popular isn't always right."

What this great man means by this quote is well kind of the last statement we did, just because everybody is doing a certain thing, it doesn't make it right. You can be at a party with a number of people, some might be drinking or smoking pot as for some of them offer to you. I mean, they are all doing it, you would be quite a let down to  them if you don't join in the "fun". Either way, what is the right thing to do? You already know what is the correct thing to do. Yet, the feeling of being part of a group and not trying to let down your "friends" is something you really don't wanna do. If you choose to take part, you are doing the incorrect. People should also know better than to drag people into doing something they know they shouldn't be doing.
